As you may or may not know, Marji Guyler-Alaniz and the rest of the FarmHer crew came out to the ranch last spring. They spent a rather stormy morning with me and the animals. And today is the day I have been waiting for since then! My episode is on RFD-tv. To say I am massively excited, is an understatement. Please tune tonight, Fridays at 9:30 p.m. EST (encore Saturdays 11 a.m., Sundays at 9:30 p.m., and Wednesdays at 8 a.m. EST).

I just watched your “FarmHer” episode and it reminded me what I miss about growing up on a horse ranch, and with animals in general. Oh, well, at least I have my elderly Beagle to fill that need for unconditional love that only an animal can offer a human, it seems. Thanks for an entertaining half hour, Ma’am.

I saw your FARMHER episode! I loved it. You inspire me. The older I get, my desires to become a farmer (not just be married to one, its my last name) grow stronger and stronger. I would love to start out with a few goats and pigs. I saw where you mentor up and coming youth but would you have any suggestions for an old gal of 44 on how to start? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙂 Great job on the show!

Old gal?! At 44?! Nope. You are prime for adult 4-h!!! All I can say is jump in! That’s the best way to start. Just do it.
